PUBG Mobile, playable in India under a different name — Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) — has rolled out a new update that brings the Dual Form Upgradable Firearm, the Lightshift Temple (Divine Moon) AKM. Now available to all players, the update is meant to elevate the experience through a new skin. Here is everything about the update and all it brings.
Also known as the Divine Moon AKM, Lightshift Temple AKM is an upgradable skin now available to PUBG Mobile players. Its final form will be unlocked after a player collects both Gilt Sets. The new skin not only gives a player a new way to express themselves but also brings some functional upgrades. Its aesthetics include both traditional and futuristic patterns that might appeal to players. The new AKM also lets a player personalise the weapons. The new Lightshift Temple AKN improved combat skills with better recoil control and more stable firing for long-range fights.
As I mentioned, a player needs to collect both Gilt Sets to unlock the final form of the Lightshift Temple AKM. These sets will be available in the new Honor Series event as players navigate various challenges and win rewards. Players should update their PUBG Mobile version from the Google Play Store or Apple’s App Store in eligible markets to get the new update.
The announcement about the new AKN has come from the official PUBG Mobile account. However, BGMI has not confirmed the new AKN’s arrival. Although many new updates to PUBG Mobile come to BGMI later, it is not always the case because both games have different publishers. While PUBG Mobile’s publisher is China-based Tencent Games, BGMI is directly available through Krafton. Unless Krafton optimises the new AKN and other features for the Indian players, they are unlikely to debut in BGMI. We will find out more about the whether the new AKN is coming to BGMI in the coming days.
