It is scheduled for Summer (around the time of July) and will be held for 8 days. It will have 24 teams from pro-level tournaments. These teams will have to win to reach the survival stage, followed by the main stage.
Apart from this, Tencent also hosts the PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL). It recently hosted the spring phase of the tournament in South East Asia. Those teams who want to join the Global Championship will have to excel in the regional tournaments.
China has its own Peacekeeper Elite PUBG tournament. Players from China for the Global Championship will be selected from this tournament. Additionally, some popular clubs will also be invited to the championship.
While Tencent is conducting these tournaments in full swing, India isn’t part of them as the game is banned in the country. However, the PUBG alternative Krafton’s BGMI is available in India and several country-level tournaments are being carried out here.
Currently, OneGame is hosting the BGMI Pro Championship in India. Several teams are participating in the tournament such as Enigma Gaaming, Godlike, Revenant Esports, Hydra Esports, Medal Esports, Team Insane, and others. Today is the Day 3 of the championship.
