PS4 and PS5 gamers can claim My First Gran Turismo for free

The Gran Tourismo is one of the most successful racing sims ever. Now, the franchise is setting up the stage to get new players to the game. Developer Polyphony Digital has announced My First Gran Turismo which is going to be a free-to-play title that will help the fresh players to get familiar with TV series. The game will be available on both PS4 and PS5 starting from December 6, 2024.

My First Gran Turismo details

My First Gran Turismo aims to give the players a gist of what it feels like to play the game. The game will help all the new players master the basics of the game and polish their driving skills. As for the game, it will bring three race events, three music rally stages, and three-time trials. Players can indulge in any of the challenges and create records of their own.

The game will also include history and trivia about real-life cars along with an in-game encyclopedia that will help the players understand the cars they are going to drive. All the players in the game will be able to gather vehicles and learn driving basics in the license center. They can also take part in time trials, races, and practice runs, along with playing music rally mini-games.

It can be said that My First Gran Turismo will work as a demo version for the Gran Turismo 7 game. And the reason behind this step could be to let more people connect with the 2022 launched racing SIM game. The experience will include 18 cars that players can use on some of the most popular Turismo tracks like Deep Forest Raceway, Trial Mountain Circuit, and Kyoto Driving Park. My First Gran Turismo will be accessible via PS VR2 for the PlayStation 5 users. The game will be available to download for PS5 and PS4 starting from December 6, 2024.
