The PlayStation 5 30th Anniversary Collection was released in September 2024 to mark the 30th anniversary for first PS console release. The limited edition consoles introduced by Sony take the color schemes and the logo from the original PlayStation console from where it all started.
As for the details, the PS 5 30th Anniversary Collection ships with a custom connector cable. It looks similar to the first-gen Sony connectors taking you back in time directly to 1994. As claimed by Sony, there will be only 12,300 PlayStation 5 30th Anniversary Limited edition units. And the device will have their unit number engraved on them.
While we agree that purchasing the PlayStation 5 30th Anniversary Collection would be a delight because of the nostalgic value. However, considering that it has no upgrades, going for a PlayStation 5 Pro at this point in time seems like a better financial decision.
