Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup for October 2025, and it is jam-packed with thrillers, action, and throwbacks – just in time for Halloween. The collection goes live on October 21 for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers, with headliners like Silent Hill 2, Until Dawn, V Rising, and Yakuza: Like a Dragon. There is a nostalgic treat for classic fans too as Tekken 3 joins the PlayStation Plus Premium tier. Horror and Thrills Lead the Lineup

The Silent Hill 2 remake is finally here for the PS5. It reimagines the 2001 psychological horror classic with striking new graphics and sound design. The player takes on the role of James Sunderland, who ventures into the foggy town of Silent Hill looking for his late wife, but encounters strange monsters along the way and faces his own inner demons. Also new to the catalog is the rebuilt Until Dawn (PS5). In this modern slasher, eight friends are stuck in a mountain lodge, and each choice could mean life or death. On the other hand, Yakuza: Like a Dragon (PS5, PS4) offers an absurdly chaotic but emotionally invested RPG adventure. Experience Ichiban Kasuga’s dramatic transition from loyal gangster to an unexpected protagonist as he confronts the criminal underworld of Tokyo. The game blends turn-based combat, humour, and drama with dozens of side activities and character-driven missions.

Other Additions

The lineup also includes As Dusk Falls (PS5, PS4), an emotional crime drama with multiple story outcomes; Wizard with a Gun (PS5), a co-op magic survival game; and Poppy Playtime: Chapter 1, a short but creepy factory mystery.

Finally, Tekken 3 (PS5, PS4) headlines the Premium tier, letting players relive one of the most iconic fighting games ever made – with modern enhancements like rewind, up-rendering, and quick save support.

With this mix of psychological horror, action, and RPG classics, October’s PS Plus lineup is one of the strongest in months.
