With the NBA season just around the corner, 2K Games has officially announced the release details for NBA 2K26, the next installment in its flagship basketball video game franchise. The game will launch worldwide on Friday, September 5, 2025, and fans won’t have to wait until the season starts to get in on the action.

Players who purchase the Superstar Edition or Leave No Doubt Edition gain early access starting August 29 at 1:00 PM ET. This release will be synchronised across all regions, meaning players on the West Coast can jump in at 10:00 AM PT, while those in the UK will start at 6:00 PM BST, and Japanese gamers began at 2:00 AM JST on August 30. NBA 2K26 Editions and Price in India

- Standard Edition: Priced at Rs 4,999 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One and Rs 4,999 for PC (via Steam).
- Superstar Edition: A digital-only edition costing Rs 7,499, which includes 100,000 VC and 7-day early access for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. On Steam, this edition can be purchased at Rs 5,699 for PC.
- Leave No Doubt Edition: The most premium version at Rs 9,799, offering early access, 135,000 VC, and additional in-game bonuses. On PC, this edition can be pre-ordered through Steam at Rs 8,500. It will be available until September 7.
WNBA Edition: Retailing at $69.99, this physical-only edition will be sold exclusively at GameStop in the U.S., available for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
As for the cover athletes, Oklahoma City Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander headlines the Standard Edition. NBA legend Carmelo Anthony and Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese will grace the NBA and WNBA editions respectively.
