Mojang’s back at it again with another weekly Minecraft update. While this new update isn’t a massive one, it definitely gives the players a boost in terms of quality of the game and enhances the aim of arrows and snowballs. It also introduces fog and visual enhancements making the environment more interactive.
In this snapshot, Mojang has fine-tuned how projectiles behave. Until now, projectiles had a fixed target tolerance margin of 0.3 blocks, which often caused shots to miss when aiming quickly. This has been improved in the Snapshot 25W19A update. Now, projectiles start with zero target tolerance for the first two ticks. After that, the tolerance gradually increases by 0.05 blocks per tick until it maxes out at 0.3 blocks.
To explain this in simpler terms: your shots will now be more accurate during the early moments of flight, giving you better control and precision when trying to hit fast-moving or distant mobs.
Another major upgrade is the enhanced fog system. Rainy days in Minecraft now feel more immersive thanks to denser and mistier fog. It’s a subtle change, but it really adds a moody, atmospheric vibe when the weather turns gloomy. This makes the environment more enjoyable to explore and gives players a much more immersive experience.
A few other minor tweaks have also been fixed as well. TNT now retains player info for who ignited it, Vex entities no longer lose their summoner data after death, and more. So while this might be a smaller update overall, it definitely makes the Minecraft experience more polished.
Mojang seems to be constantly working on improving the game and has also released the new Minecraft Actions & Stuff 1.4 update, which introduces a variety of enhancements and new features to the popular Bedrock add-on.
