The PPSSPP app is now officially available on the App Store and users can install as many PSP games and play them right away. This comes after Apple updated its App Store guidelines recently, making it more open. In this guide, we will show you exactly how you can play PlayStation Portable games on your iOS device.

Interestingly, there are no prerequisites required to play PSP games. All you need to do is simply download the emulator and the game file and start playing. Let’s see a step-by-step process.

How to download PPSSPP emulator and play PSP games on iPhone

Step 1: Open the App Store on your iPhone.

Step 2: Search for PPSSPP in the search bar.

Step 3: As said above, the PPSSPP emulator is now officially available on the App Store. That said, you should see the emulator app in the results. Tap on it and install it.

Step 4: Once installed, we now have to download the games to run on the emulator. We will do that from the browser. Open Safari or the choice your browser on your iPhone.

Step 5: Tap on the search bar and type Romspedia. Then click on the first link that says Romspedia.
