Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 And Warzone Season 1 Launching December 4 With New Maps, Modes And Features

The first season of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Call of Duty: Warzone is set to kick off on December 4, bringing a major batch of new content across both titles. Activision has described it as one of the biggest seasonal updates in the franchise so far, with fresh maps, new modes, and several additions for Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. The storyline in Black Ops 7 will move forward with General Dorne’s continued quest for revenge, while Warzone players will get access to an all-new Resurgence map called Haven’s Hollow. New Multiplayer Maps and Modes

Season 1 introduces four Multiplayer maps. Fate is a darker, altered version of Raul Menendez’s Nicaraguan compound featuring oversized machetes suspended in the sky. Utopia takes players to an abandoned futuristic city built for high-speed combat. Odysseus offers close-quarters fighting on a floating carrier, and Standoff, a classic fan-favourite map from Black Ops 2, returns with familiar sightlines intact. Players will also see the comeback of popular modes. Prop Hunt, the light-hearted hide-and-seek mode, returns with new twists. Sharpshooter puts every player on equal footing with the same rotating weapon, while One in the Chamber brings back its high-risk, single-bullet gameplay.

Zombies Mode Expands With New Maps

Zombies players get two new locations this season. Astra Malorum is a story-driven map set inside an observatory located on a skull-shaped asteroid, where players investigate a forgotten cult. Exit 115 is a survival map focused on wave-based combat.

Warzone Adds Haven’s Hollow and Verdansk Changes

Warzone’s highlight addition is Haven’s Hollow, a new Resurgence map based in a mysterious Appalachian town featuring areas like Haven’s Lab, the Mansion, and a floating casino called Riverboat. Verdansk also receives updates with the Signal Station, which can activate satellite systems to reveal Tactical Heat Maps, and a renovated Factory location designed for Black Ops 7.

Seasonal Additions and Battle Pass

The seasonal CODMAS event will return with holiday-themed modes and the Sleighjacked map variant. The Season 1 Battle Pass includes over 110 unlockable items, featuring the “Dorne” Operator, new weapons like the Maddox RFB and Kogot-7 SMG, and a 10% XP boost.
