OpenAI is constantly focusing on one of its top markets – India. A few days after confirming that the AI giant is set to open its first-ever corporate office in Delhi later this year, OpenAI has launched Learning Accelerator in India. Leah Belsky, VP of Education, OpenAI said in a blog post, “We believe AI has incredible potential to empower educators and learners. To realise that potential, we must work side by side with educators and institutions. One of the key initiatives of the Learning Accelerator program is the partnership with IIT Madras, along with All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and more. Via these collaborations with Indian institutes, OpenAI will focus on key parameters such as advanced research on AI, training for AI, AI tools for learners, and more. As mentioned before, OpenAI is planning to open its corporate office in Delhi, the national capital of India, later this year. Now, the ChatGPT-maker has announced Learning Accelerator in the country. Not only these, OpenAI is also planning to hire locally for better management. If you remember, ChatGPT Go subscription tier was recently launched in India as an affordable plan at Rs 399.
