OpenAI Coming To India: A New Corporate Office In New Delhi Expected Soon

OpenAI has always been on the front foot when it comes to its business in India. And now, taking a step forward, the AI giant is expected to open its first-ever corporate office within a few months. The plan seems to be in sync with OpenAI’s reach in India with its AI bot ChatGPT’s user base. India is said to be the second-largest market by users of ChatGPT. ChatGPT Go: An Affordable Subscription In India

What does it offer? It offers extended access to the GPT-5 model, unlike the free tier subscription. Moreover, ChatGPT Go lets you create more images, provides extended access to file uploads, access to advanced data analysis, longer memory, and access to projects, tasks, and custom GPTs. 

OpenAI Hiring In India

Apart from the office and the first developer day in India, the report suggests that OpenAI has begun hiring, too. The Sam Altman-led company has posted three sales jobs in India. If you are interested, know that you need at least seven years of experience. The report suggests that the company may post more job openings in India, as a new office is expected to open soon. 

It must be noted that currently, Pragya Mishra, the public policy and partnerships lead in the country lead is the only employee in India.
