Grok AI vs ChatGPT: The Battle for AI Supremacy

Elon Musk’s chatbot Grok AI will soon be available for Android users worldwide. Grok Ai was developed by xAI (Formerly Twitter) and was launched as an initiative by Elon Musk. It will be available to Android users as a standalone app which was listed on the Google Play Store. However, users cannot download or install the app right now, but you can pre-register to be the first users of the app. As per the report, the beta version of the Grok AI was accessible to some testers. Notably, there’s no official launch date for the app right now.

X owner Elon Musk has always been experimental with his new launches and as with Grok AI, the chatbot is programmed to answer spicy questions with its witty and amusing answers. Grok AI is made to access real-time information through the social media platform X. The app is fundamentally an answer to the OpenAIthe  ChatGPT and as per Musk Grok AI has been an open challenge to Sam Altman’s OpenAI. The app will be made available to users with a Premium+ subscription via X.

The app is already available for iOS users and now you can spot the app on the Google Play Store. To recall, the app was briefly available to the first 1,000 users in Australia, Canada, India, the Philippines, and Saudi Arabia. The early access was given in order to test the app. Now the app is available with a Pre-Register button on Google Play Store. As soon as you click on the pre-register button, you will get a message saying ‘We’ll notify you when Grok is available for your device.’

The app offers two fun modes of interaction including Fun Mode and Regular Mode. By default, the app operates on the Fun Mode which delivers a witty and comical response. But many times, you cannot rely on those responses. However, the regular mode delivers more accurate answers. But just like other AI chatbots, you cannot rely fully on them.

The app will be equipped with several features including text responses, image generation, and real-time information. All these features will be sourced from X. The Musk-owned app will be powered by the Grok 2 AI model.
