In the AI race, Grammarly has taken a major step and introduced a set of new AI agents that are designed to go beyond simple grammar fixes. These new tools are designed to offer advanced support like plagiarism detection and AI content recognition. In addition, these new Grammarly tools will also do proofreading. The introduction of new tools is part of Grammarly’s Docs platform.

These tools are free for everyone, but the AI agents themselves will only be available to premium subscribers.

Grammarly’s New Tools

By releasing these new tools the company says it is rebranding itself from just a grammar suggestion tool into a productivity-focused platform. The platform is powered by agentic AI, and hence, users can now write directly inside Docs and access specialized agents for different writing tasks, rather than juggling for different tasks.

Smarter Writing with Fewer Prompts

As per Grammarly, traditional AI assistants often require multiple prompts to refine results. But Grammarly says its AI agents cut down on time by giving direct, context-aware solutions that match the user’s goals more efficiently.

These tools are designed for students, professionals, and creators who need targeted writing help. From grading insights to audience analysis, the new agents make workflows smoother for academic, creative, and business writing alike.
