Planning a trip usually starts with a simple idea and then quickly turns into 20 tabs of all the planning, from comparisons of different hotels, places to visit, food to explore and whatnot! Google is now planning to fix it. With its latest AI-powered travel features, the tech giant is making it easier to build itineraries, find affordable flights, and even book restaurants – all through Search and AI Mode. news Also Read: Now Search Your Favourite Movies Or TV Shows On Google Play Store: Here's How

AI-Generated Travel Plans With Canvas

Google is expanding its Canvas tool inside AI Mode to help users build full travel itineraries in one place. You can simply describe the trip you want – a solo vacation, a food-focused weekend, or a family holiday – and select “Create Canvas.” The tool automatically pulls in real-time data, including: news Also Read: Call Recording Finally Arrives On Google Pixel 6 And Newer Models Globally

  • Flight and hotel options
  • Photos, ratings, and reviews from Google Maps
  • Suggestions for restaurants, activities, and local hotspots

The plan appears in a side panel and can be refined further by asking follow-up questions. For example, you can ask it to suggest a hotel closer to sightseeing spots or add new experiences to the same day. This feature is currently available on desktop in the U.S. for users testing AI Mode through Google Labs.

How To Find Cheaper Flights With AI-Powered Flight Deals

Google’s new Flight Deals tool is also expanding globally. It’s built for anyone who’s flexible with dates or destinations and wants to quickly discover the cheapest routes available.

You can type something as simple as, “Show me budget trips from Delhi in February” and Flight Deals will scan multiple options and highlight the best fares. This tool is now rolling out across more than 200 countries and regions, supporting over 60 languages.

It Can Now Help With Bookings

Google is also extending its “agentic AI” features – tools that handle tasks from start to finish. So instead of manually checking multiple apps to reserve a table or book tickets, you can now ask AI Mode directly. It will:

  • Search across different reservation platforms
  • Show real-time availability
  • Provide direct links for booking

Partners include OpenTable, Resy, Tock, Ticketmaster, StubHub, SeatGeek, Vivid Seats, Booksy, Fresha, and Vagaro. Restaurant booking through AI Mode is rolling out first in the U.S., with event bookings already available to Labs users.

Google also says it’s working with major hotel and travel partners so that, in the future, you can book flights and hotels directly within AI Mode.
