These new additions under the Storm series are designed for budget-conscious users looking for solid features at an affordable price. The Storm Play features a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This is great as 120Hz adds a better experience when scrolling through your favourite social media apps. The phone also gets an IP64 rating, making it resistant to dust and light splashes.

Under the hood, the Storm Play is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7060 processor. This is paired with 6GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. This ensures better performance for multitasking and daily apps.

On the camera front, this phone features the same 50MP Sony IMX752 rear camera, but the front camera gets trimmed to a 5MP selfie lens.

The Lava Storm Play is priced at Rs 9,999 and will be available exclusively on Amazon starting June 19, 2025. On the other hand, the more affordable Lava Storm Lite is priced at Rs 7,999, and will go on sale from June 24, 2025, also via Amazon.
