Delhi Police X (Twitter) account got hacked; Here are the details

After the Supreme Court of India’s YouTube channel hacking fiasco, we recently witnessed another major chaotic situation in the country. Just a few hours ago, the X (formerly Twitter) account of Delhi Police was hacked. The whole scenario got a lot of people talking on the platform related to the hack. The Delhi Police official soon recovered the account. However, we can say that the hack caused a decent amount of ruckus on the platform.

Talking about the hack, a group named Magic Edem has taken responsibility for the same. The hackers even changed the cover photo of the Delhi Police’s official Twitter account. The hackers replaced the cover photo for the same with a picture of Magic Edem. Surprisingly, they made no changes to the username of the account which definitely came as a shocker.

And the best part was that Delhi Police took action pretty quickly on the scenario and restored the account as soon as possible. Apart from that, the display picture and the cover photo have also been changed by the authorities. In the aftermath of the events, Delhi Police has clearly said that the matter is being investigated to find out who did this. Apart from that, the authorities have also assured that appropriate action will be taken against the culprits pretty soon.
