Vivo X200 FE and Vivo X Fold 5 are set to launch in India on July 14.
Share After the series of leaks and rumours, Vivo has confirmed that the launch of the compact Vivo X200 FE and the foldable Vivo X Fold 5 is all set to launch in India soon. Scheduled for July 14th, the duo of smartphones by Vivo are expected to bring several improvements and upgrades over its predecessor.
It must be noted that both phones have already been launched earlier. The Chinese market witnesses the X Fold 5 launch, while the Taiwanese market gets the X200 FE. Now, the tech giant is bringing both of them to India. What all do these phones bring to the table? Have a look.
The Vivo X200 FE keeps them as a compact and affordable option of the X200 series. It is tipped to feature a 6.31-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Plus, it may get up to 5000 nits of peak brightness. Based on the version launched in Taiwan, the Vivo X200 FE is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset. Moreover, it may run on Android 15 with Vivo’s customised FunTouch OS 15.
Talking about the cameras, it will be tuned by ZEISS optics. The triple camera setup is expected to include a 50MP main camera along with optical image stabilisation, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera capable of 3x optical zoom. On the front, it is tipped to get a 50MP front camera.
Vivo is said to bring the X Fold 5 as a thinner and lighter foldable phone. If leaks are to be believed, the X Fold 5 might measure around 11.2mm when folded and just 5.2mm when unfolded. Despite the slim design, it’s expected to pack a large 6000mAh battery, with support for 80W wired and 40W wireless charging. The phone may use 8T LTPO panels on both the main and cover displays. For photography, it may feature a triple rear camera setup is also said to come with ZEISS optics. One of the lenses might be a periscope sensor offering 3x optical zoom. It’s expected to launch in three colours —green, titanium, and white.
