POCO C61 has arrived in India as the latest entry-level smartphone, giving customers even more options in an already crowded market. The sub-Rs 10,000 price segment for smartphones has some of the best options, including phones with features such as 5G, smooth display, and huge battery. The POCO C61 ticks some of the boxes but misses out on one of the most crucial buying factors currently: 5G. It has a 4G chipset, but someone not looking for high-speed internet will find the POCO C61 appealing.

POCO C61 India price
The POCO C61 is listed at Rs 7,499 for the variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage and Rs 8,499 for the 6GB RAM, 128GB storage model on Flipkart. On the first day of the sale, customers can use a Rs 500 coupon to buy the POCO C61 for Rs 6,999 and Rs 7,999, respectively. The POCO C61 comes in Diamond Dust Black, Ethereal Blue, and Mystical Green colours. The first sale will take place on March 28. POCO C61 specifications
As an entry-level smartphone, the POCO C61 has a lot to offer. It has a 6.71-inch big screen with HD+ resolution, 500 nits of brightness, and support for up to 90Hz refresh rate, making scrolling and animation smoother. POCO claims the display is also responsive enough with a 180Hz touch sampling rate to let users play “fast-paced video games.” It uses Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. The smartphone features a new ‘radiant ring design’, which essentially includes a big, round camera island that glows up from its corners. The phone’s back uses “high-quality glass back,” as well. A MediaTek Helio G36 processor powers the POCO C61 at 2.2GHz clock speed, using an IMG PowerVR GPU. The phone supports up to 1TB of storage via a microSD card.

On the back of the POCO C61, there is an 8MP camera with AI features, while the selfie camera uses a 5MP sensor. Both cameras support 1080p at 30fps video recording. The phone runs Android 14 with MIUI skin on top. There is a 5000mAh battery on the POCO C61, which comes with a bundled charger. There is a fingerprint sensor on the phone’s side, support for FM radio, and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the POCO C61.
