This year, Apple has replaced the “Plus” model of the series and introduced a whole new iPhone Air, the slimmest iPhone so far. How slim is it? The iPhone Air measures just 5.6mm thick, which is even less than the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge at 5.8mm. It came with several premium top-notch features, which you find in the iPhone 17 Pro models. But to witness the next iteration, it seems like you will have to wait more than a year. news Also Read: iPhone 20 Or First Foldable iPhone May Finally Get Under-Display Selfie Camera

iPhone Air 2: Why Is It Getting Delayed

The decision to delay the launch of the second-generation iPhone Air is simply due to the low sales of the current iPhone Air. The report says that it couldn’t meet the expectations of Apple. Not only that, Apple iPhone Air’s production at all Foxconn plants is expected to stop by the end of this month.

But the hope is still there, as it is not an official announcement from the tech giant. Well, the next-gen iPhone Air 2 is not expected to offer much to the table. Some usual specs upgrade, chipset improvement, and usual camera changes alongside the Pro models.
