
Former Realme CEO Madhav Sheth’s latest venture, NxtQuantum Shift Technologies, has unveiled two new smartphones under the Ai+ branding. The Ai+ Pulse and Ai+ Nova 5G were launched today in India. Both devices are marketed as “first entirely India-authored devices.” The phones are designed and built in India, and run on NxtQuantum OS – claimed to be the country’s first sovereign mobile operating system. Here’s everything you need to know about the Ai+ Pulse and Ai+ Nova 5G smartphones.
Both Ai+ Pulse and Nova 5G are equipped with 6.7-inch HD+ displays with 90Hz and 120Hz refresh rates, respectively. The Pulse uses a UNISOC T615 processor, while the Nova 5G runs on the UNISOC T8200 chipset.
In terms of cameras, the Ai+ Pulse and Ai+ Nova 5G sport dual rear camera setups headlined by a 50MP main sensors. On the front, both devices feature a 5MP selfie camera.
Under the hood, both smartphones pack a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W wired charging. For connectivity, the Ai+ Pulse and Nova 5G feature Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type-C charging ports, and 3.5mm audio jacks.
Both devices run Android 15-based NxtQuantum OS, which is powered by Google Cloud infrastructure. It offers a NxtPrivacy Dashboard that allows users to monitor the apps tracking their data. The operating system also offers a NxtQuantum PlayStore, NxtQuantum Theme Design Tool, NxtMove App, Community App, and Community Wallpaper.
The entry-level smartphone, Ai+ Pulse, is priced at Rs 4,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model. The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs Rs 6,999.
The Ai+ Nova 5G, on the other hand, starts at Rs 7,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option and goes up to Rs 9,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model.
Both smartphones will be sold in India through Flipkart. The Ai+ Pulse goes on sale on July 12, while the Nova 5G will be available for purchase starting July 13. The devices come in five colour options – Black, Green, Blue, Pink, and Purple.
