Marvel Contest of Champions Anniversary update: New events, characters, and more

Marvel Contest of Champions is bringing the Halloween October 2024 update to mark the 10th-anniversary celebration of the game. The game is bringing new Champions, events, quests, and battlegrounds. As we mentioned earlier in one of our articles, Scream from the Venom universe is coming to Marvel COC. Scream will be released on the game starting on October 17, 2024. Apart from that, Jack O’Lantern is also coming to the game. He will enter the Champions World on October 31, 2024.

Marvel COC is bringing up a new event quest named House of Horrors, where Jessica Jones doubles up with The Summoner to solve a case involving a strange symbiote issue. And all the clues point to a spooky killer carnival. House of Horrors will bring both the upcoming characters Jack O’ Lantern and Scream as the main antagonists.

The game is also introducing a new side quest named Jack’s bounty-full hunt. In this one, Jack will play the host at the Gladiatorial Games. All the champions are forced to fight for survival along with Jack putting bounties on his enemies.

The main highlight of the same is Anniversary Battlegrounds starting from October 2 to October 30, 2024. The latest season will feature new challenges and buffs and it will have two tracks – Victory Track and Gladiator Circuit. In the Victory Track, the players will be supposed to special buffs and keep Fury active to gain an advantage. That being said, in Gladiator Circuit only the critical hits will incur damage. Now, if the players plan their move strategically, they will earn guaranteed critical hits for a short time as a reward.

And there will be new events like Deadpool’s Ultimate Multiplayer Bonanza: Alliance Super Season will also be part of this. Additionally, the game is also bringing new content to celebrate the release of Venom: The Last Dance movie.
