Rockstar’s most ambitious project yet, GTA 6, is currently slated for release in May 2026. The game will first arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The PC version is likely to roll out a few months later. Rockstar has followed the same release pattern in the past. Fans can expect the official confirmation about the launch and its possible pre-order details at the upcoming earnings event.
Rockstar is expected to drop the third trailer of GTA 6 during Take-Two’s November earnings call. To recall, the company launched the first trailer in December 2023, introducing the game’s setting in the state of Leonida, including a fictional city called Vice City. The company also revealed the main protagonists, Lucia and Jason.
The second trailer was launched in May 2025, showcasing the game’s world and storyline, revealing the full names of the protagonists.
As per speculation, the new trailer from Rockstar Games could reveal more about the characters, missions, and the vast open world of Vice City. Additionally, fans could also get to know about the beginnings of the pre-booking, along with the final confirmation of editions and pricing.
Talking about the storyline, GTA 6 will bring back the players to the modern-day Vice City, along with a neon-soaked version of Miami. Two protagonists, including Lucia, who is the first-ever female protagonist in the franchise, and Jason, will lead the game.
Leaks and early footage suggest the story will revolve around crime, loyalty, and survival, all set against a backdrop heavily influenced by social media culture, influencer lifestyles, and viral chaos.
GTA 6 is expected to be priced at Rs 7,999 for the Standard Edition, Rs 10,999 for the Deluxe Edition, and a whopping Rs 39,999 for the Collector’s Edition. All editions are expected to align with the console launch in May 2026, barring any delays.
