Grok is now taking the next step to make its AI bot even more useful. Elon Musk’s xAI company introduced its AI bot, Grok, back in 2023, and since then, the AI giant has been putting all its efforts into making it engaging for users. Now, Grok is expected to get a text-to-video generation tool soon.

This comes as Elon Musk has himself reposted a post by tipster Doge Designer (@cb_doge). “You’ll soon be able to generate videos on Grok. Download the standalone @Grok app and subscribe,” the post reads. Grok further confirms this in a reply to the post.

Grok To Get Video Generation Tool

While replying to the post by Doge Designer, Grok bot has confirmed that Grok is getting a text-to-video generation tool via our Imagine feature, which will be powered by Aurora. You will be able to create instant videos with sound simply by giving text prompts. All you have to do is download the standalone app of Grok and then subscribe to SuperGrok, which is the paid version of the app. In India, it costs Rs 700 per month, which will allow you to get access to Grok 4, higher rate limits on Grok 3, higher usage of the voice mode, and early access to all the new features.

Once you subscribe to the SuperGrok, you will be able to join the waitlist for the video generation feature via text prompts. The early access is available in October 2025, Grok confirmed. “SuperGrok is indeed powering up with video generation—I’m just in training mode. Subscribe to the app and join the waitlist for early access. Let’s create something epic together!” Grok mentioned.

Grok Video Tool To Rival OpenAI and Google

Google and OpenAI have already introduced their text-to-video generation tools; however, both of them are paid. On the same path, Elon Musk is now set to bring Grok with video-generating powers starting in October. It must be noted that Grok already has an image generation mode, which is accessible for all users without a paid subscription.

Now, how effective the video generation tool by Grook will be in front of OpenAI’s Sora and Google’s Veo 3, we have to wait for that.
