Airtel today launched its 5G Plus services in three more cities in Himachal Pradesh. Here is everything we know about the availability of the service.

Airtel, back in December 2022, launched its 5G services in Shimla. Now, almost two months later, the company has expanded the availability of its 5G Plus network in more cities in Himachal Pradesh. The Indian telecom giant today announced that it is introducing its services in three cities in the state. These three cities are Dharamshala, Mandi and Baddi.

Talking about the specifics, Airtel said that its 5G Plus services are available at Kotwari Bazaar, Naddi, Sheela Chowk, Dari, McLeodganj, Yol cantonment, and Sidhwari areas of Dharamshala. On the other hand, in Mandi, the service is available at Indira market, Bus Stand, Samkhetar, Bhiuli, and Old Mandi areas. Lastly, in Baddi, the service is available at Sai Road, Amravati Complex, Vardhman colony, Sandholi, Birla Textiles, Bhud barrier, and Cipla areas.

"I am thrilled to announce the launch of Airtel 5G Plus in Dharamshala, Mandi and Baddi in addition to Shimla...We are in the process of lighting up entire cities which will allow customers to enjoy superfast access to High-definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos and more," Pushpinder Singh Gujral, CEO, Upper North Bharti Airtel said on the occasion.

Interestingly, the announcement comes a day after Airtel expanded the availability of its 5G services in Gujarat and Odisha.

With today's announcement, Airtel 5G Plus is available in 93 cities across the country.
