Extreme heat can affect your phone’s battery health and overall performance. Leaving it near windows, inside parked cars, or charging under direct sunlight may cause overheating, battery swelling, or sudden shutdowns during usage.
Routers stay switched on for long hours, which already generates heat internally. During peak summer temperatures, poor ventilation can make them overheat faster, leading to slower internet speeds, random disconnections, or even hardware failure.
Gaming, editing, or heavy multitasking already pushes laptops hard. Add extreme room temperatures to that, and the cooling system struggles even more. Heat buildup can reduce performance, trigger loud fan noise, and shorten battery lifespan over time.
ACs are built for summers, but extreme heat still pushes them heavily. Dirty filters, blocked airflow, or continuous operation during heatwaves can reduce cooling efficiency and increase the chances of overheating or sudden breakdowns.

Summer puts extra pressure on refrigerators because they work harder to maintain cooling. Poor airflow around the appliance or frequent power fluctuations during heatwaves can increase electricity consumption and stress the compressor.
Consoles like PlayStation and Xbox need proper ventilation during long gaming sessions. In hot rooms, internal temperatures rise quickly, which may lead to lag, loud fan noise, automatic shutdowns, or hardware stress over time.
Power banks should never be exposed to direct sunlight or extremely hot environments. Excessive heat can damage lithium batteries internally and, in rare cases, even create fire or explosion risks if ignored.
