Xiaomi is expected to release its Redmi Note 15 series in India very soon. According to a report from Smartprix, citing tipster Yogesh Brar, the series is likely to debut in early January 2026. The devices, which were unveiled in China in August, are expected to launch in India with a few changes to hardware and camera combination. Redmi Note 15 Series India Launch Details

The Indian version of the Redmi Note 15, Note 15 Pro, and Note 15 Pro+ will differ slightly from the Chinese models. The report mentions that there are changes expected in the camera setups and possibly even minor software changes for the Indian market. Xiaomi is also said to be planning a wider launch as it is expected to launch on both online and offline channels on the very first day. Redmi Note 15 Series Specs, Features

The Redmi Note 15 series is expected to bring a combination of Qualcomm and MediaTek chipsets. The standard Note 15 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip, while the Note 15 Pro could use MediaTek's Dimensity 7400 Ultra chip. The top-end Note 15 Pro+ is said to feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, positioning it as one of the more powerful phones in its segment. Camera details for the global and Indian models haven't been confirmed yet, but reports suggest some variations from the Chinese lineup where the Pro+ model featured a 200MP main sensor.

Redmi Note 15 Global Rollout Underway

Ahead of the official announcement, the Redmi Note 15 series has started popping up on certification platforms across several countries. The Note 15 5G and Note 15 Pro have been spotted on listings in Singapore and Thailand, while the Note 15 Pro+ has cleared certifications in Indonesia and the UAE. These approvals hint that Xiaomi is almost ready for a wider rollout, with the India launch expected to be among the first global markets in early January.
