Reliance Jio has introduced a new cloud-based service called JioPC for its JioFiber and Jio AirFiber customers. This virtual desktop platform turns your TV into a personal computer, allowing users to access a full desktop experience with just a keyboard, mouse, and an internet connection. Jio is offering a one-month free trial of JioPC with access to cloud storage and AI tools.
JioPC Price in India and Availability
The JioPC service starts at Rs 599 per month, which gives users full access to the virtual desktop features. There's a two-month plan as well that can be opted at Rs 999.
As part of a limited-time offer, Jio is providing extended access on long-term plans:
- 6-month plan (with 8 months' access): Rs 2,499
- 12-month plan (with 15 months' access): Rs 4,599
All listed prices are exclusive of GST. The JioPC app comes pre-installed on Jio set-top boxes.
How JioPC Works
JioPC is a cloud-based virtual desktop that operates on the servers of Jio. It requires a Jio set-top box, a keyboard, and a mouse to access. The service uses Ubuntu Linux OS and provides a setup like a normal PC.
