Realme has officially launched its latest flagship lineup - the Realme GT 8 and GT 8 Pro - in China. The new phones bring big upgrades in performance, design, and even battery life. The highlight of the launch is clearly the Realme GT 8 Pro. It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and comes with Realme's R1 X graphics chip for smoother visuals and gaming. Realme GT 8 Series: Everything To Know

The Realme GT 8 Pro packs a massive 7,000mAh battery - that's the biggest we've seen from Realme so far - and supports 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. It features a 6.78-inch 2K AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. Realme has also added extra protection this time with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, meaning it can handle water and dust. On the camera side, Realme has partnered with Ricoh for the first time. The phone features a 50MP Ricoh-tuned main camera, a 200MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide sensor. What's interesting is that you can actually swap out the camera island - a small but fun touch for those who like customising their phones.

On the other hand, the standard Realme GT 8 keeps things slightly simpler. It comes with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, and of course, the same fast charging support.

Realme GT 8 Series Price and Availability

In China, the GT 8 Pro starts at CNY 3,999 (around Rs 50,000), while the regular GT 8 begins at CNY 2,899 (roughly Rs 36,000). Both are available in White, Blue, and Green colour options.

As for India, Realme hasn't confirmed a date yet, but looking at past launches, the GT 8 series could arrive here by the end of the year or early next year.
