Steam has made one of the adventurous games free for users until July 1. Tell me why it is one of the most recognised episodic adventure games. It has won multiple awards and has become a recurring free title
Unlike other platforms such as the Epic Games Store, Steam doesn't have a dedicated free game program. However, it often offers free titles for a limited time, and savvy users can build a sizable free game library by keeping an eye out. These deals usually last for small periods, so make sure you grab them instantly. But, fortunately enough, Tell Me Why is one of those rare titles that Steam gives away annually.
For those unfamiliar, Tell Me Why is a story-based adventure game. It has multiple episodes and is made by Dontnod Entertainment. This is the same studio responsible for the popular Life is Strange series. The story follows twins with special abilities trying to uncover the truth behind their mother's death. The game stands out for featuring a transgender character as a main playable protagonist, which adds depth and representation to its storytelling.
Though the reviews for Tell Me Why were mixed, the game won several prestigious awards. It received the Games for Impact award at The Game Awards 2020 and Outstanding Video Game from the GLAAD Media Awards. Now that it's free on Steam, players can give this game a try and at least enjoy the story.
