Unveiled on September 10, 2024, the PS5 Pro promises to deliver a more immersive and powerful gaming experience, building on the success of its predecessor, the PlayStation 5. At the heart of the PS5 Pro's appeal is its impressive performance upgrade. Equipped with a next-generation custom x86-64-AMD Ryzen Zen2 8 Cores, the console offers significantly enhanced processing power. This results in improved graphics fidelity and smoother frame rates, supporting native 4K resolution with up to 120 frames per second, and even 8K output for supported content. Pre-Order

PS5 Pro will launch on November 7, 2024 and will be available directly from PlayStation at direct.playstation.com. Preorders will begin on September 26, 2024.

Price

The PS5 Pro is $699.99 USD, 699.99 GBP, 799.99 EUR, and 119,980 JPY, including tax. Additionally, it will also include a 2TB SSD, a DualSense wireless controller and a copy of Astro's Playroom pre-installed.

As per company's blog, the newly unveiled PS5 Pro will support and is also compatible with PS5 accessories, including PlayStation VR2, PlayStation Portal, DualSense Edge, Access controller, Pulse Elite and Pulse Explore. In terms of design, the PS5 Pro maintains the sleek, futuristic look of the original PS5 but with a more refined and compact form factor.
