On Reddit, users have been actively debating the release window. Many believe that Rockstar will unveil GTA 6 Trailer 3 between November 2025 and January 2026, keeping in line with past timelines. Some argue that a December release would allow pre-orders to go live before Christmas, giving Rockstar a six-month marketing run before launch. A few fans even calculated that based on historical gaps between Rockstar's trailers, January 17, 2026, could be the exact date.
What To Expect in GTA 6 Trailer 3
Unlike the first two trailers, which were more about flashy cinematic shots, the third trailer is expected to finally dive into gameplay. Fans are buzzing about features that might show up from a rumoured love meter and in-game social media to new ways of using weapons and more interactive missions. Leaks suggest that Rockstar may also showcase parts of the Vice City map and even a promo of story-driven missions.

GTA 6 Maps, Story, and Characters
The GTA 6 story will follow two protagonists Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval marking the first time the series has a female lead. Other confirmed characters include Cal Hampton, Raul Bautista, Dre'Quan Priest, and more. The game is set in Leonida, Rockstar's take on Florida, with Vice City at its heart. When it comes to the map, players will get to explore Leonida Keys, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia, Grassrivers, and Mount Kalaga National Park a mix of swamps, sunny beaches, and neon-soaked city streets.
GTA 6 Release Date
Rockstar Games has officially locked in May 26, 2026 as the worldwide release date for GTA 6 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The PC release is expected to be announced later.
GTA 6 Price in India, USA (Expected)
In India, the standard edition may cost around Rs 5,999, with a special edition at Rs 7,299, while a Collector's Edition could exceed Rs 20,000. In the U.S., the price may range between $70 $100.
