YouTube Premium brings new experimental features for the masses

YouTube has introduced new experimental features for all premium subscribers. This time, the video streaming platform is coming up with features that will boost content consumption. And that's not it, finally, YouTube is bringing picture-in-picture support for YouTube Shorts on iOS devices along with smart download support. YouTube Premium's new benefits

All the YouTube Premium users will get a set of benefits including enhancing the audio while watching a video. This feature is going to be a boon for all the people who need better audio while streaming anything. As claimed in the official blog post, YouTube will offer 256kbps audio playback to the users. Previously, it was only available for smartphone devices. This feature allows the users to jump to the best parts of the video they are watching. Another major highlight is that all iOS device users will be able to take advantage of the picture-in-picture mode on YouTube Shorts. Moreover, the smart downloads feature will also be available for them. And the playback options will be there for up to 4x speed. As of now, the users need to understand that all the features are experimental and the users are supposed to opt-in for them to experience the same. Talking about the region-wise scenario, people from the UK and Ireland will now be able to use the Ask Music feature of YouTube. As for the feature's working, it lets the users add music they want to listen to.
