- It will be released for the masses pretty soon.
Swiggy, after the group ordering feature, has now released the Incognito Mode. The new feature is intended to provide enhanced privacy to the users on both quick commerce and food orders. The mode can be beneficial for the people who order food in the moments they don't want a history for. For example, ordering a personal treat or a surprise gift will be super easy with this mode in action.
This feature was a much-needed one for those who share their Swiggy account with friends or family members. To understand it with a situation, let's say someone is planning a surprise birthday cake delivery for someone whom they share their Swiggy account with, then they can simply use the Incognito Mode of Swiggy to place the order.
As of now, the feature is only available for 10 percent Swiggy users. We can say that Swiggy is testing it out on a small group and the feature will soon roll out for the masses as well.
How will Swiggy Incognito Mode work?
Using the Incognito Mode in the Swiggy application is no rocket science for both Android and iOS users. You will be supposed to visit the app and toggle the cart to Incognito Mode and then you can order anything - food or quick commerce items, without the fear of someone getting the hang of the order history.
Once the order reaches you, it will be visible on the Swiggy application for three hours so that you can report if there is any issue with your order. After the mentioned time frame, the order will be hidden from the application. The way Swiggy is rolling out new features, we can soon see some more of them coming out in the near future to enhance user experience.
