How to hide sensitive apps on your iPhone
iPhone lets you lock supported apps with Face ID, adding an extra layer of privacy before anyone can open them.
On your Home Screen, locate the app you want to hide or protect from others.
Touch and hold the app icon until the quick actions menu appears.
Tap Require Face ID, then choose Hide and Require Face ID (if available on your iPhone).
Verify your identity using Face ID to confirm the change.
Hidden apps are moved to the Hidden folder in the App Library and can only be opened after Face ID authentication.
To restore an app, open the Hidden folder, authenticate with Face ID, then choose to remove the hidden protection.
