What if your CAR can see which you can't?
Apple is expanding production in India in order to lessen its reliance on China, where manufacturing has become riskier due to US trade restrictions and Covid-related disruptions. It turns out that Jabil Inc.'s Indian division has started sending the plastic bodies, or AirPods enclosures, to China and Vietnam, where the wireless earphones are put together. However, the ability to now produce an additional product in India has been a win for both Apple and its Indian manufacturing partners. This is part of Apple's ongoing efforts to diversify its supply chain and reduce its reliance on China.
