Google always brings something or the other to enhance user experience on its various platforms. Even this time the tech giant has rolled out a powerful new upgrade to its Search. The feature is called AI Mode which is designed to make searches even more detailed, smarter, and highly personalized. The feature is equipped with Google Search’s real-time access to information with advanced AI enhancements.
Google blog post reads, “So many of the questions people ask are part of longer-running tasks and projects, and often they want to get back to the information they found. So now, we’re making it easier to jump right back in on desktop. We’ll continue to quickly improve and evolve AI Mode based on your input.”
The recently launched AI Mode is available through Google Lens and is right now only available in the US. If you are living in US, then you can access it by signing up and there’s no waitlist required. A small number of users in the US will start seeing a new AI Mode tab directly in their Google Search.

Indian users have to wait a few more months for the feature to be enabled for them. But, you can join Google Experiment Labs via the Google app in order to try out the feature early.
Additionally, the tech giant also recommends using the AI Mode on mobile devices as it works best, especially for searches including both text and images.
The AI Mode launched by Google builds on the existing AI Overviews and they currently appear on the top of the search results. For example, searching for a holiday plan might now return flight details, weather forecasts, local attractions, and even booking options in a single result.
