Wayanad landslides: Airtel offers free data, extends bill payment deadline

Airtel has announced relief efforts to support impacted users in Wayanad.

It is offering 1GB daily data, 100 SMS per day, and unlimited calls for three days at no extra cost.

Postpaid users get a 30-day extension in bill dates for uninterrupted services.

The offerings are valid for all Airtel customers in Wayanad.

Airtel said it is also offering support to local administration.

It has turned Airtel retail stores into relief collection points across the affected area.

Other telecom operators are expected to follow suit.
