Shukrayaan: Top things about ISRO's Venus mission

After the success of Chandrayaan-3, ISRO is planning to launch the Venus mission.

ISRO chief S. Somnath said it will be called Shukrayaan mission.

He recenrly said the project payloads have been fully deployed for Shukrayaan.

Shukrayaan will study the phenomena occuring in Venus.

Since Venus is almost the size of the Earth, it is important to study it.

Venus is said to have a thick atmosphere, filled with acid.

Venus is considered as one of the four inner rocky planets.

ISRO is yet to reveal more about the Venus mission.
