Ever heard of AC Helmet? Indian Police officers use it to beat summer heat

Summers are here in India, making the environment around us swelteringly hot. Those working outdoors are suffering the most.

However, there's an ingenious solution to this, an AC helmet.

AC helmet is what it sounds like. An air-conditioned helmet, this one is made by IIM students in Vadodara, Gujarat.

It is already being used by around 450 traffic police officers in Gujarat.

But how does it work? It is a battery-operated helmet that offers air circulation for up to 8 hours on a single charge.

The battery pack can be wrapped around the waist.

While this AC helmet looks cool, this is not India's first AC helmet.

The price of this AC helmet is unknown, but AC helmets aren’t cost-effective.
