Apple has a tool to stop you from looking at the screen too closely.
It is called Screen Distance and it protects your vision health.
Whenever you bring the iPhone screen close to your eyes, this message will appear.
To set it up, go to Screen Time option in iPhone settings.
Here, you will find the Screen Time option that you have to tap.
From here, turn on Screen Distance on your iPhone.
The Screen Distance uses the TrueDepth camera on eligible models running iOS 17.
When you move iPhone more than 12 inches away, you can tap Continue to resume using it.
