A few users have reported that their G42 5G units are showing Android 14 update prompts.

The latest update is likely available in India only for now.

It is about 2.68GB available as an over-the-air download.

The Android 14 update brings not only new features but also better security.

The software version after the update becomes V2.160 with December 2023 security patch.

The Nokia G42 5G was launched in June last year.

The Nokia G42 5G was also the last phone from HMD Global in India.
