Google is working on the Pixel 7a and it is said to be a significant upgrade over the Pixel 6a in most departments. It will offer at least 5 new features.
The Pixel 7a will come with a better 90Hz FHD+ AMOLED display over the 6a's 60Hz FHD+ screen. It will most likely be a punch-hole panel.
Another notable upgrade the upcoming Pixel 7a will bring is in terms of the camera. It will have a new dual camera system at the rear with a 64MP Sony IMX787 primary sensor and a Sony IMX712 ultra-wide lens.
Powering the handset will be the new Google Tensor chipset, likely the Tensor G5, which is present in the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro.
The Pixel 7a will come with wireless charging support of 5W. Although modest, it will be great to see in a mid-range Google phone.
The device is expected to come with Qualcomm's new Wi-Fi Bluetooth chip, the WCN6740.
With all that, the Google Pixel 7a is expected to launch soon. However, the exact release timeline is yet to be revealed, but mostly early next year.
