Delhi a paradise for car thieves: This car model is most stolen

A new report has claimed Delhi is the most car theft-prone city in India.

With a 2.5x increase since 2022, Delhi sees one vehicle stolen every 14 minutes.

An average of 105 vehicle theft cases were reported daily in Delhi, the report said.

The theft hotspots include Delhi's Bhajanpura, Uttam Nagar, Shahdara, Patparganj, and Badarpur areas.

Half of the stolen cars are from Maruti Suzuki, WagonR and Swift being the thieves' favourite.

Theft of two-wheelers also spiked in 2023, with Hero Splendor ranking as the most stolen bike.

Honda Activa is also a favourite with second-highest theft cases reported.

The premium Royal Enfield Classic 350 is also among the most-stolen bikes in Delhi.
