Meet the world's first AI Diplomat who can read statements

AI teacher, AI anchor, AI influencer, we have heard and seen all of them. But have you heard of an AI diplomat? 

The job of a diplomat is far out from being suitable for a robot, but what about a human-looking AI avatar? 

Ukraine has deployed the world's first AI diplomat.

Meet Victoria Shi, the world's first AI diplomat/spokesperson. 

She reads statements and speaks humanly with the required pauses and expressions. 

Victoria's voice and tone were modelled by a Ukranian celebrity named Rosalie Nombre. 

As per the Ukrainian Ministry, Victoria's statements will have a unique QR code linked to the text version.

This way people can figure out if it's the real Victoria AI avatar speaking or some deepfake. 

This is surely a milestone and it makes us glad as well as anxious for the future.
