Your UPI IDs may be expiring: How to save them from deactivation

From January 1, 2024 several UPI IDs will be deactivated.

That is because these UPI IDs have reached their expiry.

RBI has urged people to take action to save their UPI IDs from getting deactivated.

Per new rules, UPI IDs that have been inactive for the past year will become inactive.

If you have a UPI ID or IDs that have not been used for a long time, here's what to do.

Use that UPI ID to make payments by today.

This will make the ID active again and it will not be deactivated.

If you don't want an ID, just don't do anything.
