WhatsApp testing new design for Status updates: Take a look

WhatsApp may soon change the look of the status screen.

It is reportedly working on a new screen for status.

This is what it may look like, according to WABetaInfo.

With this new design, users will have the option to swipe between images, videos, and text.

The toggle can be easily switched, giving users more convenience when composing a status.

This new status composer is available in WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.24.7.16.

WhatsApp is expected to roll this feature to stable users soon.

There is no information if a similar feature is being developed for iOS.
