Upcoming WhatsApp features to look for in 2024

Here are all the upcoming WhatsApp features in no particular order. 

1) Meta AI is already available, but we will soon see its voice chat mode, allowing users to ask queries with voice inputs. 

2) Meta is testing animated emojis in beta and they may arrive soon to the public.

3) WhatsApp will soon bring AR effects and filters for ongoing video calls in the app. 

4) WhatsApp will soon allow users to reshare status updates when they have been mentioned. This is a feature similar to Instagram. 

5) Meta is testing AI chatbots in WhatsApp that will allow users to do fun and useful stuff. This is similar to Telegram. 

6) Meta confirmed that it's rolling out the Imagine feature of Meta AI, however, not everyone received it. 

It is expected to be available to everyone in phases.
