Tired of Instagram Instants? Here’s how to HIDE them

Instagram has introduced Instants, a new feature for sending quick disappearing photos through DMs.

Instants lets users send casual photos that disappear after they are viewed.

The feature works with close friends and mutual followers inside Instagram DMs.

Photos sent through Instants disappear after opening and vanish completely after 24 hours.

You can use Instants directly inside Instagram or through a separate Instants camera app.

If you don’t like the feature, go to Settings → Content Preferences → Hide Instants in Inbox.

You can also temporarily hide Instants by pressing and holding the stack in your inbox.
