Snapchat has expanded anti-stalking features for users in India.

The app now allows users to block or report people if they create a different account on the same device.

This will help you avoid unnecessary interactions from people you have already blocked but are trying to contact using a new account.

Snapchat will now send more frequent alerts about friends who you are sharing your location with.

Sharing your location with your Snapchat friends has also been simplified.

Snapchat will also prevent delivery of a friend request altogether when teens send or receive a friend request from someone they don't have mutual friends with.

The app will also send pop-up warnings when an unknown user sends a message.

The new tools will be rolled out in a phased manner in different countries.
