Paytm Payments Bank deadline: 9 major changes after March 15

RBI's deadline to ban Paytm ends on March 15: Here's what's changing after that. 

No deposits - those with savings/current accounts with Paytm Payments Bank won't be able to deposit money in their account. 

Withdrawals allowed - You can withdraw money even after March 15. 

Refunds allowed - If you were to receive a refund in your Paytm Payments Bank, it will arrive and you can withdraw the amount. 

Interests, cashback allowed - Interest on your existing deposit, cashback is be allowed post March 15. 

Salary credits not allowed - If you have set Paytm Payments Bank as your default salary account, you must arrange an alternative bank account. 

Paytm wallet withdrawals allowed - You can withdraw money from Paytm wallet even after March 15. 

Paytm wallet deposits not allowed - You can't deposit money in your Paytm wallet. 

Merchants can accept payments even after March 15 if they have linked their QR/ account with any bank other than Paytm Payments bank. 

If the QR/account is linked to Paytm Payments bank, they must get a fresh QR code with any other bank.
